Volleyball is one of the most popular sports in our country. The secret of its popularity is that it is accessible to all age groups. But it is especially widespread sport in the youth environment. Volleyball includes various forms of motor activity, develops accuracy and speed of movement, promotes the development of the cardiovascular nervous, respiratory systems, improve metabolism, strengthen the musculoskeletal system.
Volleyball classes with students take place: they are held in the gym № 2 of the educational building № 24. In the volleyball section are engaged boys and girls of all levels of readiness. Classes are held in the first and second year, twice a week.
90 min volleyball training session. consists of:
- preparatory part (15-20 minutes), the purpose of which is to organize and psychologically prepare students for active activity through special and underwater physical exercises;
-the main part (50-60 minutes), during which students acquire new material;
-the final part (10 - 15 minutes), which involves a gradual reduction of physical activity, reduction of excitement after the work done and bringing the body to a relatively calm state through exercises for relaxation of muscles, breathing exercises.
The NTUU "KPI" Volleyball Competition is held between the faculties. Almost all the faculties of the University participate. Competitions last for a spirit of months, more than 50 games are held. At the end of the competition participants and teams of the winners are awarded with memorable diplomas and cups.
The main goals of volleyball:
enhancing the functional capacity of the body by means of volleyball;
promotion of comprehensive harmonious development, rejection of bad habits, improvement of mental and physical performance;
forming thoughts about systematic physical exercises, taking into account the peculiarities of their future profession, physical self-improvement and healthy lifestyle;
providing students and students with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of physical education in order to prevent diseases, restore health and improve their professional capacity;
mastery of methods of determination of physical condition and self-control;
education of organizational skills, personal hygiene and hardening of the body;
ability to compose and perform exercises in the morning hygienic gymnastics complexes; improving students' sportsmanship.
